Due to funding challenges and the uncertainty of future support, Southern Black Arts has made the challenging decision to postpone the next
SUMMER ARTS ACADEMY
until the summer of 2026.
We are deeply sorry to all the families that have supported this wonderful camp. We hope to see you again in 2026. This is not goodbye, but 'See you next year!'

Dance
Southern Black Dance Theatre is a dance ensemble comprised of local artists and choreographers, producing dance concerts to fun fund our community programs.

Music
We incorporate fundamental music education into our annual Summer Arts Academy. Campers learn from teachers and artists and experience both vocal and instrumental music.
T
Theatre
From skits to set design, our campers receive a well-rounded education on the history and elements of theatre arts. Acting is a key component of our showcase.
V
Visual Art
We afford our student artists the opportunity to exhibit and produce visual works and mixed media experiences. Working artists volunteer their time and art to support our initiative.
