Southern Black Arts, an arts advocacy nonprofit organization. We deeply believe in the power of the arts in the community and classroom, the power to teach, unify, to expand and so much more . Our aim is to bring the fine and creative arts education through camps, performances and workshops to communities and schools across Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia and Louisiana.

 

We contract dancers, visual artists, singers, musicians and writers to share their craft and skill with young minds, budding learners and intrigued audiences. Our work will rewrite the outcomes of the lives of hundreds of young black and brown, low income and marginalized people through sharing the mastery of black and brown artists.
